Monster Yamaha Tech 3's Bradley Smith cut his teeth in the 125cc World Championship back in 2009, where he scored three grand prix wins and finished runner-up in the championship. After beginning his successful partnership with the Tech 3 team during his first season in the Moto2 World Championship, Smith went on to score three podiums and finished seventh overall in the series. In 2013, Smith became the youngest British rider ever to earn a full-time ride in the prestigious MotoGP class.
After a superb 2015 season, which featured top-ten finishes in all 18 grand prixs and a magnificent sixth-place overall in the championship, Smith entered 2016 (his fourth season in the MotoGP World Championship) with plenty of confidence. Unfortunately, injuries have held him back thus far in 2016, but he looks to improve on his 2015 highlights (including a brilliant second-place finish at the San Marino Grand Prix) in the last few rounds of the championship.
