Not only was it lengthened for additional protection from the sun and roost during grueling outdoor motocross and off-road races, we've also increased the range of adjustability to provide a greater field of vision when it's safe to raise the visor above your line of sight. Plastic hardware is utilized for proper breakaway and safety during impact, and the included matte black strip can be affixed to further reduce glair during the brilliant midday light.
Behind a stainless steel mesh screen that's been appointed the task of preventing roost from entering the VFX-W's “Sleek” Mouthpiece, a strip of AIM+ shell material is in place to prevent larger intrusions. Backed by a removable, washable foam filter that allows cooling air through while trapping fine silt and dust, the mouthpiece on the new VFX-W does its job with authority!
